I recently moved into a cute little two bedroom apartment in the UES. I unfortunately am stuck with the smaller bedroom with a beautiful view of a brick wall. LOL I decided to spice up the room and make it very Moroccan. I painted the walls “high drama” red, the window and door frames “saffron strand” gold, and the doors and inside the window frames plum purple. Now the only thing I need to do is find a bed room set and the right color bedding and pillows. I need suggestions on colors. I don’t want to go to crazy with the colors but I want some colors that’s will liven up the place a bit more. The red is kind but not really dark.

I would try to find gold tones for the bedding and select some really cool Moroccan fabric for pillows with all the wall colors to bring it all together. Then, drape a Moroccan blanket over the foot of the bed for warmth and then you’ve got ‘that look’.
See if you can find a collection of lanterns of different shapes and sizes to hang over the bed.
